Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is an American actor and singer. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods Michigan as the daughter of Lorelei Frygier - a nurse - and Tom Bell - a television director. She's an American singer and actress. Her birthplace was in Michigan's Huntington Woods and was raised by an Polish mother and a father that was German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen was already a talented performer from a young age. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother before the age of 13 and was subsequently cast as a model in television and newspaper commercials. Then, she also began private acting lessons. Bell was as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell was a member of the Drama and Music Club of Shrine Catholic High School. Bell was cast as Dorothy in the school production in The Wizard of Oz. Bell then moved to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell left her studies in 2001 and assumed the role of Becky, a character from Tom Sawyer. The same year she appeared in Pootie Tang however, the scene in which Bell appeared was cut. As a result, there is only a credit sequence. Bell appeared on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
