
Teri Lynn Hatcher was the daughter of Teri Hatcher. She was born in Palo Alto California on December 8th 1964. Esther Hatcher, her mother, was a Lockheed Martin computer programmer. Owen Hatcher her father was an electrical engineer as well as a nuclear physicist. Teri trained in ballet at San Juan School of Dance and was raised in Sunnyvale. Fremont High School was where she was the Featherettes dance captain and was recognized with the "Most Likely To Be the Solid Gold Dancer" award. Hatcher graduated with a degree in maths and engineering at De Anza College after which she studied acting in San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri admitted that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone had sexually assaulted her from when she was just five. She also assisted Santa Clara County prosecutors in their case against Stone after Stone's 14-year-old victim took her own life. Stone was sentenced to prison for his plea to four counts of molestation, and then he died from colon cancer in prison
